Megan Thee Stallion fans know that her nails are always on point, and we love when she includes pics of her nails with her infamous poses in her Instagram posts. Allure Magazine has now taken notice, recently publishing a report on how Megan Thee Stallion is setting a new trend by incorporating nail belts into her manicures.

While enjoying her time in South Korea, Megan shared a photo featuring her nails painted cobalt blue with a unique detail: red 3D belts winding across two fingers on each hand, complete with a miniature buckle and gold dots. The design takes the everyday accessory of a belt and elevates it to a quirky, fashionable nail art statement. Megan paired this look with sleek, long hair and a bold Jean Paul Gaultier hat, adding extra flair with dramatic lower lashline lashes.

Megan’s nail art continues to inspire, with previous designs including glass nails, color-blocked styles, and modern-art-inspired patterns, solidifying her place in the nail art hall of fame.

Emmy-winning director Nneka Onuorah recently sat with Black Enterprise to discuss Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words, which offers an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at the Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion. The documentary, filmed over three years, explores Megan’s journey to fame, resilience through loss and trauma, and personal struggles, including the aftermath of the gun violence she was a victim of in 2020.

Onuorah emphasizes the balance between Megan’s public persona, Megan Thee Stallion, as a strong feminist icon, and the more vulnerable, relatable side of Megan Pete. The film showcases Megan’s vulnerability, touching on themes of grief, depression, and navigating life’s challenges—experiences many women and girls can relate to. Onuorah celebrates the positive response to Megan’s openness, particularly how it has created empathy and made her even more relatable to fans.

Onuorah, who previously won an Emmy for directing Watch Out for the Big Grrrls, expresses her gratitude for being chosen by Roc Nation to direct Megan’s documentary. She reflects on her self-taught filmmaking journey, highlighting her dedication to her craft and her excitement for the future.

Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words is available to stream on Amazon Prime and still ranks among the most watched titles on the platform.

I’m the Teflon Don in the courtroom
They be throwing that dirt, don’t sh*t stick

Meghan Cuniff, aka Meghan Thee Reporter or the Bob for the Job, has revealed that attorneys representing Emilio Garcia, Megan Thee Stallion’s thirsty former photographer, are facing potential sanctions after they failed to attend a pretrial conference in Manhattan federal court last Wednesday, November 6, 2024.

The lawyers are required to submit an explanation by Tuesday for their absence, or risk penalties. Garcia’s harassment lawsuit against Meg, filed in April 2024, stems from an alleged incident in Ibiza, where Garcia claims he was trapped in a car while Meg allegedly had sex with a woman and was allegedly told not to discuss it. He also accuses her of fat-shaming and mistreatment afterward.

A follow-up conference is currently scheduled for November 18, 2024.

Glorilla & Megan Thee Stallion - Wanna Be

Plies, who we actually love, recently filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against Megan Thee Stallion, GloRilla, Cardi B, and Soulja Boy, claiming that they used his 2008 track “Me and My Goons” without permission. The lawsuit points to Soulja Boy’s 2010 song “Pretty Boy Swag” as the first instance of the beat being used, and alleges that it was later sampled in GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion’s smash hit “Wanna Be” as well as the remix featuring Cardi B.

Plies’ lawyer said that a musicologist confirmed the beats of “Pretty Boy Swag,” “Wanna Be,” and its remix all sampled “Me and My Goons.” But our Unproblematic King LilJuMadeDaBeat defended Megan and the girls by clearing up the fact that both “Wanna Be” and “Pretty Boy Swag” actually sampled the 2006 track “My Dougie” by Lil Wil, produced by Big E, which came out two years before Plies’ song “Me and My Goons.”

Even though Ju cleared everything up with the fact, Plies’ attorney is maintaining that the lawsuit stands and they will to continue to pursue it unless a settlement is reached.
